Finishing the Headboard

Do you remember a couple posts back when I started my D.I.Y headboard made from the bamboo shade? well here is the finished product!The great thing about this project is that is cost $0.

A few months back when we tore down the wall in the kitchen we had some extra wood i wanted to keep for projects. I left it outside in the elements so it would look worn and old. and it worked out perfectly!

Here is the before:4 pieces of wood and a bamboo shade- who knew it would make a cool head board 🙂
